The Bugatti spun three times due a a patch of water on a wet road surface following a rain before colliding with a Vauxhall Astra and then went up a three-foot bank to clash into a tree, on a 40mph stretch of the B375 Renfree Way, Shepperton, at 1630 on Sunday (4 March).

Bugatti Veyron ClashThe front of the Bugatti Veyron was completely ripped off with every panel damaged and the front wheels pointing in opposite directions. Worse still, it’s reported that the eight-litre, hand-built Veyron is one of 300 worldwide and one of only 12 in Britain, and the model in Sunday’s crash had been delivered to the owner only a week before, and was rented by the driver who caused the accident for £20,000 a day.
