I just bought a condo with a tub/shower enclosure and I’d much prefer a shower curtain. Is it complicated or expensive to remove and enclosure? Will it damage the tub and walls? Any guidance?

Answer by cocoanutt When I bought my house there was (still is) damage from the removal of the doors. There are scratches from someone digging with a screwdriver or something. But the doors themselves only left screw holes which were filled with caulk and pretty much concealed, although not perfectly. If you’re so inclined, consult a surface specialist who can repair the fiberglass after you remove the doors.

I just paid $ 6 for a nice vinyl shower curtain liner and it smells awful.
I washed it on delicate cycle and put vinegar, baking soda, and rinsed in fabric softener and it still smells. What else can I do? Thanks for your help and have a nice evening.

We are considering a foreclosure and there is this small area where the bathroom and washer and dryer would go in the basement that is unfinished. How much would it cost (estimated) to finish that small area? The rest of the area is already done. Its just a small space that is unfinished. The bathroom has everything in it, just needs to finished (drywall and stuff I am thinking).
It already has a toilet, sink, and bathtub and plumbing and stuff. It just needs to be finished with the drywall and stuff.

Answer by Mona Lisa Overdrive It depends on how much of the work you do yourself, and the quality of the materials. I’m not sure what you mean by “the bathroom has everthing in it.” If no plumbing is required, and you use inexpensive materials (vinyl flooring instead of tile, for example) and do the work yourself, it could be under $ 1,000. If you hire someone, and have to buy a toilet, sink, cabinet, tile, etc, it could easily go past $ 5,000.

Answer by volcom4life just wet it and dab on your face. Don’t rud because when u do that it takes the oils out of your face causing aging. Glad I could help =)
I am having a bit of trouble when washing the shower curtain. I cant wash it as it is in the bathroom, and I can’t wash it in a tub without a hassle. So where is the best place to put it while I’m washing it.

Answer by Josie826 I wash mine in the washing machine on delicate. Put a bath towel in with it. Works great. I also throw it in the dryer on low for about 5 minutes and that warms it up enough to hang straight and gets the wrinkles out.
