  1. Usually something 100% sythetic and dries quickly. Cotton holds water too long and does not dry fast enough to prevent mold & mildew.

    Something lightweight with nylon is a good option.

  2. If you are talking about the plastic part, I would just buy a liner, for about $ 1.99 at Wal Mart. Then you can use any kind of fabric you like for the decorative part. A pair of twin flat sheets work great. You can use one of those spring type rods, that stay up by themselves. Run the top part of the sheet, (it is just a pocket) over the rod. Then, create some tie backs, and there you go. Put the rod with the sheet as high as you can. so the length will be right.
    Sheets make great curtains for anyplace in your home!
