My mom accidently stabbed herself with a pencil, what will happen?

Pencil Cup

Anonymous asks:

My mom tried to catch a cup from falling and there was a pointy pencil in that cup that poked into her skin. I know pencils today are made of graphite and not lead and that she’s not poisoned but what will happen, like will she get infected and if so how badly?
She also wiped her hand with those little tissues that have medicine in it to clean out the graphite but theres still some in her hand

As long as she keeps the wound clean, she’ll be fine.

  1. No she won’t, I have accidentally ” stabbed” myself with a pencil too and no, it won’t get infected. Just rince it off with so water ( to get any remaining graphite out) let it dry, and then put some neosporin on it, and then maybe put a band- aid on it. If there is some dead skin where the pencil was, if so, don’t put a band aid on it.
