  1. I’m sorry but what’s the use of your service? What is your target group?

People who have to live in such a small space usually can’t afford a interior designer… if they have the money to afford you, why don’t they just get themselves a bigger apartement and skip your service as they have enough space, anyway?

  2. We shipped 6 rooms of furniture to a couple with 4 children in Iowa recently. They were moving into a brand new house that was being built. They just didn’t want a lot of big bedrooms and more space to maintain and heat and air condition. they wanted to live more efficiently. While our furniture isn’t inexpensive – it does have a great warranty and anywhere, especially in urban markets the furniture cost so much less than more space it is quite sensible to purchase.

  3. @lynth In New York City, condos at well over $1000/sqft, well, if I could afford a condo in a big urban city, I’d be able to afford this furniture. I can afford neither, and yes, in small towns, the poor live in small spaces and these beds would cost well over half a year’s rent just for a bed.

Of course this furniture is going to be costly, it’s a revolutionary new concept! Engineers, designers & fabricators all work together, &I bet they all like to be paid. You know, when the first home computers came out, they cost a TON compared to nowadays. But as they became popular, the prices plummeted. I’m hoping that’s what happens to this amazing furniture concept. I can’t afford this stuff either, but I’m grateful that this company introduced the idea.

  5. We didn’t edit this or pay for the editing. This was purely an editorial feature done by an NBC program in NY called LXTV – First Look. They were doing a story on the apartment we supplied the furniture for and interviewed the architect in the space he designed and you will notice there is no mention of Resource Furniture in the video at all. We posted this to our website as it was about the products that we sell.

  6. Some people (me)–love living in small places. This stuff looks durable and could last a lifetime. My income is very low but when I think of all the money I’ve wasted over the years on pressed wood and cheap laminate furniture, that breaks down so easily–well. I’m too old to make an investment like this now, but I can see it being used in summer cabins and it reminds me of features in Dad’s RV. Maybe the price will come down to my level while I am still living! I admire the art and creativity.

  7. Depending on the city you live, even small apartments are expensive to rent. This concept of space saving furniture is very nice and extremely important nowadays, imagine in a few years where apartments will be even smaller. I would like to see other furnitures in the house, instead of everything turning into beds!!
