There is actually a line of “spa” products that are made to be safe for use in jacuzzis. They are sold usually through the dealers and on-line. They dissolve completely so that they do not interfere with the operation of the jacuzzi. I use a liquid type that you add a capful to the water before turning it on, it adds a wonderful scent and softens the water.

  1. No, they specifically make jacuzzi aromatherapy items for this reason. Even shampoo can damage the intenal parts of a jacuzzi.

  2. Yes, it is safe believe me, my wife uses it all the time and we never had any problem with the jacuzzi, don’t believe everything you hear, some people try to scare you and in reality they don’t have a clue of what they’re talking about..☺
