  1. This blender/processer is bad ass. It comes with 4 bowls, all with lids. Big motor, lots of power. Always wanted a machine like this. Bars and restaurants should buy this machine. Unbelievable!

  2. Beware, the plastic will only last a few months at best if you use this device often. You can replace the motor for about $30 on the website but seriously…….why not just give the customer four extra plastic parts. If you don’t mind paying the $15-$30 every time it breaks buy one. On another note customer service is outsourced to india so be prepared for major confusion on the phone. Beware of the magic bullet, the rubber seal will strip out and break in a few months of use. I am moving on to an industrial blender and scrapping these two money pits. You get what you pay for.

I’ve had many gadgets to do what this Ninja does! This one makes great smoothies and squishes for the family.

  4. I LOVE the Ninja! It’s super powerful, makes great baby food puree, great smoothies in a flash!

I would give it 5 stars, but the only thing is that it doesn’t seem like it chops or does anything besides blends (you can’t really control the degree of chopping), but I guess then you can buy a food processor. But if you’re not expecting this, then it’s awesome!

It’s very easy to clean and simple to use and very powerful for the price. I think my sister who bought the Vitamix blender for $300+ was a little jealous that I spend only $50 for essentially the same thing! The Vitamix has much more power, but how much more do you really need? The Ninja was powerful enough to grate up carrots very finely.

I bought this after have several magic bullets failed. I used it about 4 times a week for 3 months to make a protein drink with some type of berries. Two issues came up for me:

    1) I had difficulty lining up the EXACT positioning to get the motor to work. This sometimes took 1-3 attempts to get the lid lined up correctly to get the motor to work. It eventually did. I did not mind this except when I was in a hurry. The mixer was fine (so far) for what i was doing.

    2) 2nd issue, more of a concern as it rendered the machine useless. I turned the machine on and when I went to pour, the rubber gasket was in the base pitcher. I found both a plastic holder and lots of pieces of rubber in my drink. I called QVC where I bought it and asked for a replacement lid….not the whole pitcher…just the lid. They said they would inform the manufacturer. It’s been more than two weeks and I have not received an email, lid or any type of response.

I do not make a complicated drink. 1 piece of ice, 2 scoops of protein, about 3-4 cut up strawberries or 1/3 cup of blueberries and water or soy milk. Not particularly thick at all.

If I could find a simply drink mixer that works< so I don't have to lug my Kitchenaid out to mix a quick 8 oz drink, my life would be easier. I would be willing to spend to buy a high quality drink mixer that is quick and easy to clean and WORKS for more then 2 or 3 months. (2 Magic Bullets and 1 Sunbeam have also failed.) I have yet to find one.
