What are some things I could put on the shelf around my room?
I have a medium size room, probably 9ft by 13ft. I have a shelf all around my room, about a foot from the ceiling. What are some creative things I could put on it? in the past I’ve put photographs and beanie babies.

String lights would look cool and add some romance too! You could staple them onto the edge so they hang down a little.

Books and you can use it for extra storage. Just wrap some boxes with either leftover wall paper or wrapping paper. You can keep items that are cluttering up your room, off season clothes or items you don’t need to access very often, like purses you aren’t using, greeting cards and letters or memoriablila. I have one under some very high triangle windows in my room and I keep a collection of old perfume and liquor bottles up there which look beautiful when the light shines through the window.

You didn’t give your age, but, everyone I know has a gazillion stuffed animals. That, for one. Do you do crafts? Display some of them. Pictures are always lacking a space to set them, so that would be good too.
