GOO GONE
Put down a brown grocery bag over the spot. . . put some old rag, towel, shirt, etc. over that. Heat up a flat iron and run it over the wax. . . And voila!!! You may have to repeat this process a few times depending on the amount of wax, and when you pull up the grocer bag (that “wicks” up the wax), you may have to blot over the spot with paper towels
Good luck!!!
try scraping it up.
It’s going to be tough because you are dealing with wax into a porous surface.
Try this… on a hot day, pour boiling water onto the spot and blot with paper toweling. It will take a few attempts, but it might work. Good luck.
Pour boiling water on the wax, wait a few minutes, then gently scrub with a wire brush – I’m assuming your porch cement is the smooth type that was laid on with a trowel.
Hope that works.
You may always have a stain there from it… but very hot water will melt it off… you can also scrub it with a grease cutting detergent after you get the wax off… but i think the stain will still remain.
Freeze to harden the wax, then gently scrape the residue from the surface. Take care not to scratch the surface. This should be sufficient. Wipe with a sponge dipped in a solution of washing soda or detergent and water. Rinse well and wipe dry.
