How about that Mr Clean dry sponge thing that takes marks off do you know what I mean? I used it when I had some black marks on my walls, and shoes to make them cleaner.
My 3 yr old son wrote on my 8 month old leather sofa with blue AND black Sharpie permanent markers at the same time. I used the 3x Mr Clean Magic Eraser and it faded it until it is ALMOST not noticeable, then I used a leather conditioner on the sofa. You will have to scrub the sofa with the eraser, but it worked better than alcohol, shampoo and soap!!!
My son wrote all over our beige leather couches with a pen and i still have not been able to remove it. I tried everything and some of it worked but it faded my couch or ruined the color. Hope you find something. Rubbing Alcohol and nail polish remover worked the best but it discolored the couch so what would you rather have pen marks or lighter colored couch…..you choose good luck
Gently try to remove it with a magic sponge by Mr Clean I know it will take off the marker, but be very gentle.
I’ve always used non-aerosol hairspray to remove ink off anything.
I got this tip from Heloise years ago. And trust me, my dogs have eaten pens over the years!
Unfortunately you will have re-dyed the leather and so there is nothing on the DIY basis that will remove this.
It will need a solvent to remove the marker and this will also remove the finish and pigment from your sofa (if it is a pigmented suite) which will then need replacing.
This is best left to the experts. Call a trained leather technician to do the work.
If it is an aniline style leather then the mark will be permanent and only time will help as it will dissipate and blend in slowly.
Use a Mr.Clean magic eraser all you use with it is water and they work great. I’m 100% sure this will fix your problem.They’re also cheap about $3 for 2 of them.
you might try SADDLE SOAP, it works wonders on my horse saddles cleans them up real good
finger nail polish remover.
try veg table oil.
of course try it on the backside first.
test for colorfastness.
Water down some nail polish remover and quickly wipe–then follow with a damp sponge. Next, treat with a leather cleaner–they usually sell this product in the car care aisle. Worked for me–also is great if your kids accidently write on walls or countertops with same product.
Try a product called “GOO GONE”
(Target, Walmart)
I do not think it hurts leather.
No harsh solvents.
Test it on a hidden spot first.
Do not use “GOOF OFF”. That will melt the leather.

Rubbing alcohol followed by a good leather conditioner.
Rubbing alcohol, and WD40 works just as well.
