I had been looking for a quality strainer for some time. This one is a nice quality, large mesh strainer. I love the little feet that allow it to stand alone and it is designed to reach across a 10″ plus bowl or pan. Other nice features are the wide rim surrounding the basket, sturdy wire mesh and the metal handle (no more melted plastic). Good price too.

I purchased this item in order to reach the $25 minumum purchase for free shipping and I did have a need for it. I like how sturdy it is with out it being to heavy. Although it may not be large enough for all of my needs it’s small enough that finding a spot in my kitchen wasn’t hard. I love the fact that it can stand on it’s own and sometimes I just leave the fruit in the basket and put it all in my fridge rather than using a bowl. I would definately purchase again.
