What is the best way to clean the gunk left by the fabric softener in the dispenser?
I have all but given up on liquid fabric softeners because they leave such a build up of goo in the dispenser that is so hard to get out. Any ideas for cleaning the mess up? Thanks in advance.

Hot water!!!
Vinegar Then pour boiling water over it over and over
The dispenser draw should just pull out. My washing machine drawer pulls out and its easy to clean off when in hot water. Give it a tug and see if it comes out. My one is a bit like a ashtray in a car you have to lift it slightly up and give a sharp tug, goes back in easily enough.
It is lame, but I fill it with water for several of my next few cycles until it is all out. I will be checking back here though because I HATE the goo.
