The iron is working great so far and it does stay hot once you use it as per manufacturer’s guidance..i.e….keep it on the charge base at all times when you are not actually ironing. I didn’t realise the power cord was retractable and is stored within the base itself which is an added plus. I love the fact that I can store the iron right away while it is piping hot. The only thing is this was supposed to be a brand new iron from Amazon and when it arrived and I opened the package there were scratches below the iron…..I’m suspiciously thinking Amazon sent me a refurbished product.

I purchased this iron mainly for my husband who likes to take care of all his shirts himself. Our old standard corded iron had seen better days and when I went looking to

replace it, I thought I would give a cordless a try. Hubby always complained about the cord getting in the way so it seemed like a great idea. AND IT WAS.

I did my research into the best and worst on the market and this one kept getting good reviews without breaking the bank.

We are SO pleased with it. it does NOT lose heat. Each time you put the iron down on the base to move the fabric, it gets hot again.

    Great purchase…….I would definitely recommend.

It was pleasure to work without the cord getting in the way… but the walk back and forth to the base is a killer. I think it is exactly as it was represented “Very good for person on the move!” The settings are way off reality ,I tried to iron silk shirt and it took me may be 30 min to play with it,nontheless running through all the settings in order to get somewhere to wrinkle free is not to be forgotten.

I researched all irons to replace the old one I’ve had for years. I hate ironing & using my old one made for one miserable chore. I read the reviews on this delightful cordless (yes!) iron. I sew (or use to; plan to again when I find more time. Time: now there’s a product I need to find on Amazon.) Back to this cordless iron: thank you reviewers! I am so glad I finally gave in & bought this Panasonic cordless iron. It’s a delight & am rediscovering my wardrobe…simply because ironing is a more pleasant experience. Well, I still hate to iron, but at least now it’s fast & the iron does a great job. Having the stand gives me a place to put the iron (instead of knocking it off of my ironing board), so it stays well heated as I adjust the garment. No problems for me there. No cord to get in my way. Did I mention I have rediscovered my wardrobe?$? :-)
