Need to wash strainer?

I have a bowl-sized strainer I use to wash my grapes…
do I really need to wash it? I mean.. i feel that the straining washes it! Grapes don’t leave any residue…right?

If you have a dishwasher use the top shelf. that’s the best way..if not, very hot water and soap.
Yes, grapes can leave a residue you can’t see.

You can’t see the germs, you rinse fruits and veggies in cool water. You need to use hot water and just a tad of soap to rinse it clean. I do it as soon as I am finished using it, it only takes a couple of seconds and it ensures no bacteria spread.

VERY HOT WATER, unless it staines purple, then what you do , is you weigh it down with a weight or rock in a bigger pot and fill it up with HOT water and some degreaser & bleach….to zap the stain……if no stain, just HOT WATER will remove the slime & worms & chemicals & whatnot from the grapes. :)

Wash it with soap and hot water. There may not be anything left behind but what if there is? Wash it after every use to be on the safe side.
