Anyone know how to program a mujlti-code garage door transmitter to a chamberlain opener?

I had to replace my garage door opener and the new chamberlain only came with one transmitter. I think i can use my old garage door opener if i can program it correctly but front or back only says “Multi-code” so i assume that is the brand name. when i open it, there are ten switches numbered 1 to 10 and the word “open” at the bottom of the switches. i would really like to know if anyone knows how to find the code to make this work with my new garage door opener. thanks to anyone whom can help.

Go and spend thirty dollars and get a new remote. The new models have a rolling code system, it makes it nearly impossible for people to pick up the code and is far more secure

2dambig’s correct. You need to get a second new transmitter. The old one has those switches that set it to one code only. The new “rolling code” transmitters use a different technology. The big box DIY stores all have the new transmitters.
