I put mothballs in and around dark places for spiders. Seems to help. Not too many though. A closet w 32 x h 7′ x d 6′ (d=depth). I really like to use them in the basement. Also on window sills in the spring. Good Luck!!!
try bay leaves. real simple and bug don’t like em,,ceder ,,lavender,,eucalyptus . these have always worked for me,,,,,, if you have petss try rose mary
clean your closet, that should take care of it, then just give the empty space a nice spray over with lysol
Buy a packet of napthalene balls and put them in your wardrobe to keep off all mites and other insects etc. They can be bought at the supermarkets and stores and are not expensive.
