I have had it for only one week, so far so good. Even though it is re-manufactured, it looks almost like new, and works great. It’s not as noisy as some reviewers said. Besides, you only need to turn it on for 5-10 min every time. So the noise is acceptable.

i don’t know what about new ones but refurb i bought just after three uses got it drive shaft bent. now gears between motor shaft and grinding screw are start sleeping when you pres to push meat through the neck of the receiver. it makes pretty loud and scary crackling noise. i need take a closer look on it’s plastic gear and sproket to see if there any broken teeth.
just be aware of this it’s not a havy duty machine even though manufacturers website claims commercial-like durability.

A good price for the grinder, but was dissapointed that there was not any receipes included with the machine. These usually come with a product like this.
