the fan is very light, probably too light.th velocity even on low speed is very good. it is quiet and for the size of the room 12×12 it moves the air quite well. i am pleased with this fan. it does have a remote.

  2. I bought this fan when I lived in Iowa, for nights when I was too hot due to the heating. It felt marvelous on me then and I had great sleep.

Now that I live in LA and need it to cool down my apartment, I honestly can’t say it feels marvelous because I can’t feel anything at all. Even though I have it on the highest setting. Don’t buy this fan if you need a fan to cool down a room!!

Buy it, if you like some cool air in moderate temperatures at night.

  3. Great product. The remote quit working 1st day. You put new batteries in & it will work for about two functions. Must have a short.

heats up our living room when on maximum. Our living room/kitchen/dining room is about 400 sq ft. I’m in San Francisco so it’s not too cold here!

  5. This drying heater for pelicans and other tall birds is great if you live on any of the coasts or near a lake. Most birds will have some aversion if not to you, to the fan, which reminds them of predators. Has 8 warm air selectors and even an extension which can be used to plug into the electric outlets of most gas stations and RV lots. Although a slight “humming” is heard, it is relieved by placing wax balls into one’s ears and blowing through your nose twice.
