Well it really depends on how mechanically inclined you are and if you have all the tools right there and ready. I would say anywhere from 2 to 3 hours if you’ve never done it. It takes me about 30 to 45 min but Ive been doing it for 8 years. So good luck, If you have any questions feel free to ask me. I can walk you through the whole thing if you need.

My husband and I installed ours. We bought it at the home depot and the guy that worked there told us an hour or so. He was wrong! It takes some time because you have to read so many instructions and then kinda feel your way through it. It ended up taking us about 4 hrs. It will help alot if you have someone there to help you. Like handing you the tools you need so you don’t have to get up and down from the ladder so much. I would also suggest reading all the instructions and laying everything out that you will need before starting. Hope this helps. It’s alot of work but so worth it just to pull up push a button and presto your door is open. Good luck hope you can get r done.

If you’ve never done it before, it’s an all day job. I’ve installed them numerous times. If you’ve never done it before, expect to be working on it all day. An experienced person can do it in a few hours.

Depends on the person, of course, but my first one took all day. The last time I did it, I got it down to about two hours.
