How do you remove silver polish from crevices of the item you polished?

I was polishing a few items that have decorative carvings in them and markings, the silver polish got into the crevices and now does not completely want to come out? I tried a toothpick, needle, and a flossing brush but there are still remnants! What to do?

Wash in warm soapy water and maybe gently brush those areas with a soft toothbrush.Dry well with a lint less cloth.

I would use a toothbrush too but use a little cool water with it. Then rinse the area and quickly dry it or it will start to tarnish right away. Rub it good with a soft rag and buff it like. That way it gets your finger prints off. Let it shine!
