How do you clean your paint utensils after using oil-based paint?

I’ve been using a product called paint clean-up by Kleen Strip.
I have a system of cleaning them, but I don’t know if this is the most efficient way.

  1. drywall pro 4 25yrs says:

Paint thinner or mineral spirits ,put this in a metal container such as a coffee can, work the brushes around till paint is all dissolved, then shake brushes .I like to store my brushes upside down, this helps keep bristles in better shape. Also don’t shake the brush by your face.If you used a roller, then use a large enough can or put the thinner or spirits in a metal roller pan that you can rinse it in.But thats alot to do for rollers when you could just replace the roller pad ,there pretty cheap.good luck.

Mineral spirits are cheap and work good.
