Product Description
The Frigidaire Mini Window Air Conditioner has a 5,000 BTUH cooling capacity. It’s a convenient source of cooling in small rooms where installation options are limited. It will cool a room up to 150 sq. ft. It ha an energy efficiency ratio: 9.7. It features n full function electronic controls, full function remote control, and LVC technology (Low Voltage Compensation) ensures proper operation of the unit when voltage fluctuates. It also features 3 Fan Speeds, 2-Way Air Direction Control, an easy mount window mounting kit, a Rigid Mesh , washable anti-microbial filter, and slide-out filter access. The FAX054P7A features clean air filtration that provides relief for increasing numbers of allergy and respiratory ailment sufferers. The FAX054P7A is 11 3/4- inches in height, 15 1/2-inches in width, and 12-inches in depth, weighs 40 pounds, and uses 115 Volts AC. It requires a window height of 13-inches and a width of 23 to 36-inch. Frigidaire provides one year full and five year sealed system warranty.

It was easy to install. Cools the room (12×12) as expected. A little noisy (but I knew it would be). I like the remote. No trouble so far.

The product description states “FAX054P7A features clean air filtration that provides relief for increasing numbers of allergy and respiratory ailment sufferers” but there was no clean air control button on the product provided.

The unit is noisy. Not just operation noise from the motor and fan but also internal rattles denoting poor construction and choice of materials. There are polystyrene baffles inside that could be responsible for some of this noise. I am considering opening it up to try to detect and rectify the rattles and vibration problems.
The remote, timer for on and off, economy function, and appearance are all good.

The air conditioner looks great, sounds like it is running ok, blows air, but does not cool whatsoever. More trouble than worth to send back, so sits in my garage. I will sell cheap. George Sigler 772-584-1527

We purchased the Frigidaire FAX054P7A Unit Air Conditioner for our son who had purchased an apartment out of state. We selected this Frigidaire FAX054P7A Unit Air Conditioner thinking it would be a nice, small A/C that wouldn’t cost us an arm and a leg. To no avail. When my son received the Frigidaire FAX054P7A Unit Air Conditioner, and turned it on it only blew out warm air. The fan is the only function that worked. My son had to beg for a return slip from the Ab company and finally we received our money. But the fact is that my son is still without an A/C. Never again will I purchase from this company any appliances.
