This does as good a job as any sifter. However, it is impossible to clean! Consider it ruined if you happen to get any of the flour wet and it sticks to the wire. In attempting to clean it, the screws popped off the bottom and the spring no longer works. It only lasted a few weeks with regular (daily) use.
