Product Description
The Private Reserve wine cellar ensures up to sixteen bottle of wine are kept at the ideal temperature while maintaining their signature bouquet, flavor and body. Use the touchpad to electronically set your preferred temperature ( between 39⁰-68⁰F). The thermoelectric cooling system holds the temp, quietly and efficiently, while the attractive stainless finish ensures wine collections are displayed in style.

Don’t count on having cold wine when you get back from vacation because the slightest power fluctuation turns it off. Also, the racks are so tightly spaced that you can’t fit anywhere near 16 bottles if they’re champagnes or otherwise larger than average. Finally, the cooling capability is really wimpy and it won’t cool your wine below about 50F if the ambient room temperature is around 72F. This was a warranty replacement for a CWC-1200 which at least fit bigger bottles. I’m kind of hoping for this one to die soon so I can replace it.

If your electric goes off — even for one second — this wine cooler turns off and does not turn back on. You have to manually turn it back on. Imagine if your refrigerator turned off each time the lights flickered.
I live in Florida where we get thunderstorms each afternoon. Each day when I get home from work, the wine cooler is off and my wine is warm.
Next, it only holds very standard shaped bottles. Some wine bottles are either too fat or too tall to fit.

So far so good. I can’t tell if the temperature is holding or not, though.
