This is a great product for the price. I already knew a great deal about it before I bought. Most lower cost slicers do not have an adjustable feature as high as this one, which makes it more user friendly.

I started looking for a food slicer more than a year a go. I had started smoking meats and slicing – thin slicing was what I wanted to do, especially for pork loin or roast beef. I read the reviews on the Chef’s Choice 610 the price fit my budget. It arrived in about a week, used it that weekend after smoking pork loin, and was able to slice it paper thin. I couldn’t be happier. I haven’t cut myself but be careful when using as the blade is extremely sharp, and keep track of the knob that holds the blade on. I accidentally chopped it with my garbage disposal. Surprisingly it is still usable.

The item is great and I recieved it promptly and in good condition.
I do regret that Amazon seems to insist on recording my personal info in order for me to buy something. That is, in order to buy the slicer, I had to CREATE AN ACCOUNT which I did not want to do since that would leave my personal info in Amazon’s files making that info retrievable by the bad guys. I therefore need to create and then remove my accout info everytime I want to buy something. That takes some time.

Also, maybe its the first time use the e-slicer. I do not satisfy with what it can do. The meal has to be prepared before the cut and somehow the sliced piece jam-ed in the bottom.
I return it cause I smelled some thing like something burned inside. Anyway, I would not buy any e-slicer anymore for sure.

This item was a gift for our son, and he said it worked very well, and was easy to clean. Our only complaint was that it was promised for next day delivery, and we paid a considerable additional fee for this, but the item did not arrive until several days later. Amazon immediately refunded the additional shipping cost, but the item still was not there for the party when it was needed. Overall, a good experience, but if you can’t deliver next day, don’t make the promise.
