Product Description
Elegant, timeless design. Commercial-Grade Solid Steel Conical Burrs preserve maximum aroma and grind precisely from Turkish fine to coarse.Amazon.com Review
For grinding larger quantities of coffee beans for a coffee-drinking crowd, Capresso’s commercial-grade Infinity grinder handles 8-1/2 ounces of beans at a time. Sixteen different settings–four each in the four categories of extra fine, fine, regular, and coarse–let you adjust the grind to the specific blend of coffee and method of brewing. The finest setting is ideal for preparing Turkish coffee, which is a rare feature to find in a grinder. A built-in timer sets the grind for anywhere between 5 and 60 seconds so you can walk away without having to constantly press a button to continue the grinding process. The Infinity has an advanced conical burr design made of steel that is usually only found on commercial grinders. This burr design slows down the gears and reduces the amount of friction and heat to preserve coffee’s flavor and aroma. The coffee container holds up to 4 ounces of grounds and remains sealed during grinding. For safety, the bean container also needs to be locked into place for the Infinity to operate. For easy cleaning, the bean container and upper burr lift off so you can clean the grinding chamber with the included brush and wipe down the heavy-duty zinc die-cast housing. The 100-watt burr grinder measures 7-2/3 by 5-2/5 by 10-4/5 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty. –Cristina Vaamonde

I recently purchased an Capresso 560 infinity burr grinder.
I am not impressed by this machine at all, given the price. It does indeed grind coffee at a variety of settings. When grinding coffee, the vibration of the machine causes the ground coffee container to move forward out of the housing allowing coffee to fall behind it and create quite a mess. The design of the bean container is sloppy, the base ring that the container tabs fit into rotates in the base, causing potential misalignment and damage to the bean container when assembling it. Instruction booklet is inadequate… there should be proper instructions and warnings of these flaws. The machine is quite loud and you cannot run the machine for more than 3 minutes or the parts will overheat! ***Note from the manual: Do not grind coffee for more than three minutes in a row. All of the parts will get warm and will influence the aroma of your coffee. is this Perhaps due to toxic fumes emitted from the plastic parts made in China.. someone should look into that! Does it pose a health risk?? I am done venting.. The manufacture of the product is poor, customer service is lacking. Not worth the money!
I also had to call their customer service three times because I kept getting put into general voice mail and waited over 20 minutes to speak to someone. Although the rep did say she was going to sent out a new bean container to replace the cracked one that was damaged when trying to assemble the unit. I also emailed the company expecting at least an acknowledgment of my concern… nothing ….the construction of this unit is no better quality than the Cuisinart DBM-8 Mill which is half the price. The unit is poorly designed and as I said just more Chinese manufactured garbage! I am certainly glad I did not spend hundreds on one of their espresso machines!

I’m too disgusted to leave an appropriate review. Save yourself from a poorly designed product and buy another grinder (any grinder but this one). The blades locked up before I ever had a chance to make one cup of coffee!

Because I read such great reviews of this unit I picked it over the less expensive Krups and Cuisinart burr grinders. Having spent an hour trying to set the Capresso up, I now regret my decision.
First, what people say about following the directions when setting up the hopper is true. It has a cheap, thin plastic collar that will break if torqued even slightly. I know this because it broke even though I was closely following directions. For $90, the company should have made the collar more durable, especially considering the hopper will be removed and replaced often.
Plus, the hopper would not fit onto the base correctly. Again, following the directions carefully I could not get it to set evenly. Maybe the burr wasn’t seated correctly as some have noted. I couldn’t remove the “removable” burr, so I can’t say.
Anything this fragile and difficult isn’t worth owning. It’s a piece of badly designed junk in my opinion and is being returned tomorrow.
Go for something else and forget the Caprisso 560.

This grinder works ok. The coffee comes out ground fine to coarse depending on the setting you choose. The grinder comes apart for cleaning and cleans up well. Using this grinder beats using a hammer to grind your coffee beans.

I wanted to like this machine and was excited to receive it. Unfortunately the top wouldn’t fit properly into the base and it had to be returned. I’m ordering a different brand today.
