Blade Runner trailer

-several sound differences (including something dropping at 0:56) -some different music (If I Didn’t Care by the Ink Spots at 2:04, for example) 1:17 is a cut shot of Deckard looking out Leon’s window 1:21 is a cut shot of Deckard in Leon’s apartment 1:49 is a cut shot of Deckard in a crowd. I believe the next shot of Rachel was also deleted 2:04 is a cut shot of Deckard getting up after fighting Leon 3:07 is the workprint version of the film opening The “Deckard” narration in this trailer …

The problem with Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep is that Phillip K. Dick was a visionary that used diction to create images. Unfortunately, this diction is at a high level and it left many people scratching their heads.. like you two

Dude, I won’t blame the movie, the movie might be good, but its the trailers, the trailers sucked back then…now it has evolved, with dialogues and lines comprising majority part of the trailer. Trailers now-a-days gives a better(and sometimes non existent) image of the movie.
But the old rule still remains, don’t judge a book by its cover :)

Woh, I enjoy your enthusiasm, but we’re still a long way off from flying cars and clones, imo. 100 years minimum I would say. Unless someone hurries up and invents something revolutionary… We’re still using gasoline to power our cars for Christ’s sake ._.

We aren’t a long way off from flying cars, we have them now but nobody has a need for them. Check out the Skycar, and you will see what I mean.

Blade Runner is one of the best movies ever made because it was so thrilling and thought-provoking. Also keep in mind that it basically launched the whole cyberpunk thing.

If there was no Blade Runner, we wouldn’t have classic cyberpunk anime like Akira, Ghost in the Shell, AD Police, and Armitage III.

How about 2087? It’s kind of like Escape from New York that was set way in the future in the year 1997. LoL!

If globule warming does not happen. Hoping to god it does not. I highly believe this would be a reality in late 2800’s.

IMHO I think the fashions in this movie aren’t 80s – they are a brilliant fortelling of this decade and the new things designers are bringing in: 40s, 50s, 60s, inspired looks along with all the stuff of the 2000s which was 70s, 80s and continuation of the 90s.
